Super Rich...

Yesterday I took all three of my children to meet a Mogul, It was so nice to allow my children to meet someone who is so peaceful and so nice and and so successful. We had the chance to meet Russell Simmons. He is so Peaceful and humble, I really enjoyed meet him with my children, I want my children to see that you can be anything you want in life if you work at it, if you set a Goal. I tell my children to reach for the stars and then reach further.


What was so amazing I had the chance to share with Russell Simmons about my child going to Europe for 20 days and I asked him if what I was doing as a parent was the right thing to do, Sending my child over seas without me, and in his words he replied, Well do he want to go? Elijah said Yes, Then Russell Simmons looked at me and said Push him on the plane lol, and that is what I will do on the day he leave for Europe I will push him on the Plane with a smile and Russell Simmons Book SUPER RICH...

Listen to Russell Simmons talk about himself and his book reminded me a lot about how I think and what I do. A lot of what he talked about was how to be SUPER RICH with in finding your high self the God with in you. How being Rich won't make you happy, but to be happy with what you have been blessed with and share it with the world.

Oh yeah! there was some students there who shared there poems with us, Those poems touched me deeply, I think I need start taking my son Elijah to see Poets more, he really enjoyed that Poets words, He understood it fully.

 Also Black Ice was there, and said a poem with meanings, I love poems with a meaning to them. I really enjoyed share that experience with my children in the hopes that something that was said will stick with them for a life time and that it will move them to do there best in life and respect the world that we live in.

Candy Sale Candy Sale!!!

Elijah is having a candy sale. He is selling candy to raise money for his People to People Student Ambassador Program.

He loves this, He takes candy to school each day and sales his candy to classmates and friends. What child don't love candy??? I hope he raise the amount he hopes for and that is $500 with the candy sale before he goes June 28th to Europe.

I would have him sale the candy door to door but that is not safe to do. So he will stick to candy sales in school. Maybe once it gets nice outside he can sale it Out front our house and do our carwash. That starts March 26 2011.

But for now Candy Candy Candy!!!! How we love Candy, he has all kinds of Candies.

The date has been change...ALL because of the snow. Everything happens for a reason. I hope that his event works out soon. We was doing so well at one point now this seem to have slowed down. It seem like times are getting harder but I will not Quiet. My son really wants this and I will not give up. I was never one to give up on something that I really wanted so why would I give up on something my son wants. New Events COMING SOON.

Cupcake Night with the kids.

Tonight I was bored from being trapped in the house because of the snow, but it's not like i would have gone out if there was no snow...lol I'm a indoors person. but anywho. I baked some yummy cupcakes for the kids. I'm working on making butterflies with chocolate, I still have to keep trying, they didn't come out the way I hoped. next I will do Hello Kitty chocolates for cupcakes...I'm going to make this work for me.

Oh yeah, I will be working on designing my blog soon. Trying to make it fit me, I like the sky and the green grass but it's not ALAYA, it not what i am and it don't say Alaya.

SNOW SNOW SNOW!!!! 14" of snow today and it is going to snow again Sat Jan 29th 2011 the day of Elijah European Lunch+ice cream, I may have to do a rain check. I hope not but oh well we will see.

Snow day,

Today was a nice snow day, I didn't do much today, I went to work and came home and cleaned up the house. I should have baked some cakes or something. not much of a dreamer today that's for sure...lol

It's 7pm nd the snow is falling from the sky, the news says that it will  be 10" of this stuff, I wonder if the schools will be open...lol. My son and I will go out and shovel peoples sidewalks for money, I wonder how much we will raise for his fundraiser. Elijah don't like being cold so I'm not sure how long will plan on doing this, but I hope he goes with me.
I will let you know how it goes.

How amazing

Today was amazing, just the other day I was making cold calls to see who was coming out to my son Elijah's European Lunch + Ice cream fundraiser event to family and friends. Just be told that they had to work or could not make it for personal reasons, I was getting a little down because I booked a place and will be having a host from the Princess House collection come out.

Low and behold, I get a call from my council woman for my district asking me about the European Lunch+Ice cream fundraiser, She wanted more information about the event. I was so blown away and so filled with joy. She told me that she will tell the people in her office and her friends about the event to come out to the fundraiser. Then after that I got a call from my son's Leader from the people to people and she is meeting me at the Olive Garden that day with other parents of Student ambassadors, and on top of all of that my mother calls me and starts asking me about the time and where this event will take place so that she can invite her friends.

I just thank the Lord for everything because I know that with out faith you only live in fear, I live in faith, hope and believe in the Lord.

Now I just Hope that there will be enough sets. :) I'm sure there will be.

Getting things in order

Today was a cold cold day, not to sound like a Dr.Suss story or anything but it was.
Today I focused on how many People will come out to My son Elijah Fundraiser event at the Olive Garden. So far I think 7 people are coming out of 30 invites. I'm hopping that those who did not reply will still show up and support Elijah. I think as a child we need to see that we are doing something wonderful by seeing a group of people come out and show that they care. He is a shy child but sweet and respectful. I know that he will do well here in the USA and in Europe. He has always been a wonderful person.
I hope that someone is reader my daily Bolgs and relize that being a mother who wants something wonderful for her child is welling to do what she can.


I will be planning a trip to Dorney Park soon so stay posted if you Live in the Pa area, This will be a group effort from the Student Ambassadors from PA.

Let me start off with allowing you to get to know a little about me. I'm a mother of three children and I live in the city of brotherly love, Philadelphia. I grew up in this city. I was in LD classes all my life, But i never felt like i belonged in them. I didn't learn very much in school. my classes was small and the teacher gave up on us many times. Sometimes the other children would not listen and I believe that is why most of those teachers gave up on us. I sometimes wonder what would have become if the teachers didn't give up so easily.

I have always been a dreamer, I never really lived out my dreams, I wanted to own a daycare center then i wanted to start a nanny agency I always dream of traveling the world, and taking road trips ever year, but i don't know why I just don't do it. I always stop at the dream. This time for my son I not stopping at the dream of seeing him live out his dream to travel to Europe. I am going to make it happen. This will be the first dream that I turn into some that becomes real, I will turn from a Dreamer to a Doer.

We did car wash and lemonade sales, we also sold cupcakes and Cakes. Now I'm trying to Host events.

Today I'm a little down because of my son fundraiser events are not going as planned. I am hosting an event at the Olive Garden for him to raise money and out of 30 invites only 3 people said yes to coming. I'm not sure how to make these fundraiser events work. I thought having family come out would be a great way for the family to support my son. My son is going away to Europe for 20 days with the People to people student ambassador program. I don't have a very good paying Job but I'm blessed to have it. That is why I'm doing the fundraiser, because I don't make much money to pay for it my self. Other wise I would, but doing these fundraiser is helping my son realize how to save money and working hard can pay off in the end.

My son Elijah is 13 years old and shares the same dream as I do. That is to travel that world. He is getting a wonderful head start if we get up that funds for him. He will go to London, France, Germany, Belgium, The Netherlands and  Switzerland for 20 days. This trip is going to cost $6,499 and it has to be paid by May 1st 2011. If you would like to help him out just let me know. That would be great! But I'm sure with our Luck so far that won't happen. But it was a great try :)

So far we Raised over $2000 in the past 6 months.
